My naturopath explained that it takes about 90 days to completely turn the body chemistry around, but the shift does begin very quickly (within days) of starting to eat right. That would explain why some of these horrible diseases can be arrested so quickly with a change in diet (and the body can begin to function better.)
I think what one person was saying, about measuring 7.0 one day, and then something different the next, is true to an extent, but that depends if you're talking saliva or urine, and my naturopath always relied on both measurements to determine what my body was doing. It's just my guess that taking a measurement daily isn't necessarily the way to go, just like weighing yourself daily isn't as good an overall measure of your weight. You're best off, I think, taking weekly measurements, and you should be able to watch an overall shift towards improvement.
