Re: Diflucan for systemic candida update-continuing to improve

I am using milk thistle and dandelion tea for liver support. I also quit caffeine, as that is very hard on the liver. I have had some liver related issues (tingling is my problem, usually) but they are quite mild. I am not saying this is the way to go, but I made the decision to do it after I had tried a lot of different natural anti-fungals with limited success. I too have amalagan (sp?) fillings in my mouth but would prefer to leave them in if possible. I did recover from candida before with them in, and I know I had candida before I even had my first cavity (my first cavity was at the age of 18). I'm sure they don't help, but I'm trying to keep them in my mouth for now. I am currently self-treating with prescription anti-fungals without the oversight of a doctor. It's probably a stupid thing to do but I weighed my options and decided I was going to do it. I decided that having candida for decades is very hard on my liver as well. I also considered that they use lamisil for 3 months for toenail fungus, so what's the real difference? I read from my research that most people who had liver trouble with Diflucan were using caffeine at the same time. Also, the range for treating oral or esophyogal candida infections was 100-400 mg per day for several weeks, so I decided to dose myself with the lowest on the range. Finally, my decision was based on an article I stumbled upon which I posted a few months ago under "excellent candida article."
