Re: narcissim in my life
Your post was sort of chilling. And so true. I recognized something my NPD husband did long, long ago and it sure opened my eyes.
They can care more about THEIR dog (operative word: their) than they care for others. (The dog is there or exists FOR the NPD, like everything else in the universe.)
But one time, it was like he let out his python to swallow me whole after crushing me (analogy) and yet, he sat there whimpering over his hangnail. Poooor HIM. It was like he could look over at me, with my shoes sticking out of the python's mouth and he would sniff, "Oh. That."
I mean, just no empathy whatsoever. BECAUSE OF HIS ACTIONS, I have been so sick for over 20 years as migraines pounded me into the ground and it is totally beyond me how I ever survived them but HE IS TO BE PITIED for not having a healthy wife. Poor man. HE is "the victim". The lies and denial are just INSULT TO INJURY.
They must get off on getting away with all of it. They're "special".
