Re: Pilar : Blood sugar issue

Hi Gibby!
You are right grapes are actually very sweet. And I just read that although it has a low glycemic index , its glycemic load is quite high...so i will watch my blood glucose closely ...thanks!

But i have to point out that the nutritionnal guidelines i use right now are more aimed at balancing my blood Sugar level than fighting candida.

So I do eat most fruits as long as I eat no more than a fruit portion at a time (like 8-12 grapes at a time depending on size) and maximum 3 fruit serving per day. Also I always eat them with a source of protein to slow down absortion, never alone!

I wont eat bananas, melon, pinapples or any dry fruits because they are too rich in Sugar and there glycemic index is high.

I do have to favor stabilising my blood Sugar levels right now beacuse i have chronic fatigue and can't work full time...everytime i try to do a candida cure i do not tolerate any products , get sleepless because of hypoglycemia.

So one fight at a time, I guess...

Pilare
