Re: 1,2,3 for jboy (and those offering advice)...Re: Pain getting worse
jboy,
Please understand that I carry an extremely heavy burden of responsibility when giving people advice about their health, especially those whose mind, body and emotions are adversely affected by chemicals. I know that anything and everything can be complicated by the use of benzodiazepines and that I can see (and you've reported) that your memory is strongly & adversely affected...so whether you get tired of it or not, I'm likely always going to remind you/others of the possible complications, and ask that you clarify your last two weeks dosages.
The worst thing that can happen if I do? You'll get tired of hearing it and maybe get mad/angry at me. The worst thing that can happen if I don't? You could become a victim of the medical industry that is the first leading cause of death. I know of people having unnecessary back surgery that crippled them for life; all of their teeth pulled (from pain in their teeth that they swore had nothing to do with the benzos, that was there even after they were toothless because of the benzos); people that have been prescribed crazy amounts of various harmful tests & chemical poisons (drugs), not to mention being forced into psych-wards & institutions, being force-drugged, fed and been forced into electro shock therapy...not to mention suicide (attempted and completed by people that would NEVER even consider it). I take your life & health very seriously. Please know that it's out of caring, love and responsibility that I remind you/others of the possible complications of benzos (and want to get to the bottom of it).
I believe you when you say this started before the Xanax. Your posting history shows you posting about it 10/11 months ago (when you first starting posting). But I don't know when you started the Xanax...were you taking it then? or not?
The earliest post you made with the word Xanax in it (clearly showing Xanax symptoms of tolerance withdrawal) was here:
//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1689896
on 9/15/2010, which would mean you'd likely been taking the Xanax since at last July or August of 2010, and maybe for a long time before then (???).
You posted about extreme itching 5/17/10 in your first posts >>>I took a acidophilus pill after dinner, my body progressively got itchier, and itchier after words. My throat isn't closing or my body isn't like swelling...just intense itching all over my body. --In the same thread-- I've experienced this exact same itching before, about a year ago...it lasted a month or two and was usually after a night of drinking...weird <<<
The fastest way to trigger benzo symptoms is alcohol. So it just makes sense to ask "when did you start using benzos"? Of course, itching can be caused by a zillion things.
You posted these symptoms on 5/20/10 >>>. I developed diarrhea really bad, extreme pain that moves from around my liver, to my chest, down my left arm, in my neck/back. BAD cravings, and shortness of breath alot...it seems like i'm developing asthma <<<,
...which you thought were candida, but then decided were hypoglycemia on 5/24/10:
>>>I looked up symptoms online of hypoglycemia, I have ever single one. All of which I thought were my candida symptoms...muscle twitches, abdominal pain, neck/chest pain, brain fog.... <<<
Guess which class of drugs causes blood
Sugar imbalances and hypoglycemia? Yep, benzos. According to eHealthMe, at least 277-2770 people have reported hypoglycemia to the FDA or experienced it when taking Xanax.
So, let's clear this up (because your health assuredly depends upon it, and I know you value your health :). You started posting in May of 2010 with symptoms that could definitely be benzo related. So, exactly *when* did you start taking Xanax (whether you took it daily or just occasionally. You can easily phone the pharmacy and find that out if you don't remember.
I doubt you have an infection because any infection severe enough to cause the type of pain you're reporting would be accompanied by a fever...and you're not reporting a fever. Any infection serious enough to cause that kind of pain (that you've had 10/11 months), almost assuredly would have worsened & spread substantially in a few weeks. I doubt it's "infection", but it's your body and you should do what you think is best (of course).
>>>even my mental symptoms are worse today.... shouldnt stabilizing be fixing all this? I'm getting hopeless. maybe it's an allergic reaction to food I dunno....no one knows what's causing it. but it's gettin worse.<<<
Read these past posts of yours (there are many other similar ones)

It certainly doesn't seem to me like it's getting worse, jboy. Your mental symptoms have improved enormously. You're a long way from being sure there are worms crawling around in your brain!
Frustratingly there's both adverse effects from taking benzos, adverse-effects from withdrawing, and those adverse-effects can trigger other negative effects...and that makes it tough to get to the root of any actual problem and do the therapy you need. Ask Anne - she had her gallbladder cut out because she couldn't get her head & body around liver-flushing while she was dealing with benzos.
Benzos also put a SERIOUS crunch on your emotions & mind (and your ability to think-straight, remember what you've said/done, and what you've posted). It's NOT you, I/we all know it's NOT you. But it IS happening to you...and yes, it's frustrating, depressing, wearisome and incredibly negative.
You'll be able to handle this all MUCH better if you get yourself on a daily schedule of positive, helpful therapies. EFT (at least 3 sessions daily), castor oil packs, hot/cold therapy on the area that's giving you problems, daily sunshine and 'barefooting'/earthing...and keeping a daily journal of what you've eaten, done and what time you've taken the Valium (and how much). No one taking benzos that becomes symptomatic can rely on themselves during this...you'll feel SO much more confident, positive and strong if you have a notebook you can refer to, and a daily schedule to remind you of what you need to do to improve your underlying issues.
Blessings,
Uny
