Ooops forgot to add - the tahini called for in hummus also has protein in it, and if you add option sesame seeds, there's even more. I'm not sure what a papercan is, but when things are jarred or tinned, they're done so with a heat process, which we don't have the luxury of with raw foods, so freshness is much more of a concern. Nothing will last 12 weeks unless it's somehow processed or dehydrated.
