Re: The trouble with free advice is people often consider it worthless....
You make a good point rocky, but unfortunatly it can easily become overwhelming for anyone frequenting these forums to sort out all the information that may arise from a given inquiry. This thread and the inquiry the originator made is a classic example; lottsa good advice being intermingled with noise and chatter, the latter of which is no doubt sometimes intentional, sometimes just a case of too many well-intended people providing too many varied approaches to a single question.
Edit: A week ago I tried something just as a mini-experiment, I chewed two small Cilantro leaves, knowing full well that since I was not yet finished with my
Amalgam removal program that it was way too early for me to begin Chelation. Later the next day I began to feel really run down, tired, sleepy, brain-fogged; went to bed way early, was a bit resltess despite feeling exhausted, eventually zonked out for a much longer sleep than is normal for me, woke up the next day and since then have been my normal self, lesson confirmed and learned!
Since coming here a little over a month ago, fresh off a different but somewhat similar and now defunct web forum, I see many similarities. Just a couple:#1, there is a HUGE archive of posts here but few people seem to appreciate this as a lot of questions are repeat questions that have been raised many times before in the recent past, and for which I too am frequently guilty of asking a question before taking the time to spend a night browsing the archives to see if the same question has already been asked and answered. Along the way, I've begun to develop an idea for who some of the resident CZ-gurus are, as well as who some of the resident troublemakers are; #2, we people are often in a hurry to get a quick answer, a natural human trait especially given the topic of health and one that makes us easy pray for the troublemakers; #3, as well as learning how to develop a base of self-health information, people need to learn how to develop a base of discernment - learning how to weed out the nuggest from the noise, not easy to do but like many things will improve over time IF people give it a chance. The real kicker here is, the more one stays plugged into mainstream, the less chance there is to develop discernment.
Back to the topic at hand, it seems that Chelating too soon is probably a factor, and somethign I've noticed that contributes to this situation is that a lot of people seem to have confused Chelation as beign one and the same with Detox, when in fact they are two separate, distinct and somewhat inter-related issues.
Maybe the best advice at this point is a reset? Perhaps give all the neuvo stuff a rest for the time being and stick with basic nutrition - food, water, basic vitamins (ACE) or a few days to see if this helps your condition?
